The Chautauqua Lake Association is putting on its second annual Paddle for the Lake fundraiser July 27.
The event will begin at Long Point State Park Marina at 8 a.m. with event registration and a continental breakfast. The 3-mile round trip paddle will first head toward Lawson Center in Bemus Point, where participants may land and visit the museum, before turning around for the return trip to Long Point, where lunch will be served.
A Current Designs Breeze kayak valued at $799 will be raffled off during the event. Tickets are available at Evergreen Outfitters, 4845 Route 474, Ashville, NY, 14710. Raffle tickets are $5 each or three for $10.
